The HBO original documentary FAYE will debut in 2024 Intimate Portrait of Screen Icon Faye Dunaway to World Premiere at 2024 Cannes Film Festival

The film will have its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Synopsis: In FAYE, the Hollywood legend’s first feature-length documentary, Academy Award-winning actress Faye Dunaway candidly discusses the triumphs and challenges of her illustrious career, with her breakout, Academy Award(R)-nominated role in Bonnie. And Clyde, “Chinatown” and “The Network” — for which she won best actress in 1977 — also reflects on “Mother Dearest,” which she considers a critical career blunder. Through these reflections, she bravely explores personal discoveries, including her struggles with mental health issues and bipolar disorder, her family history growing up in small-town Florida, and how the intensity of the characters she plays still resonates today.
