Heavy rain and storms are possible on the eastern side of Green Country through this evening. Otherwise, everything else starts to dry out, with mostly sunny or partly cloudy skies.

Tonight: Mostly clear, fog late. Lows in the 60s. The wind will be from the south up to 5 m/h.

Saturday: Morning fog, otherwise mostly sunny and warm. Highs in the 80s, with a south wind 5-10 mph. The heat index will be in the low 90s.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, windy, hot and humid. Highs will be in the upper 90s, with a heat index in the mid-90s. The wind will be southeast 10-15 m/h, gust up to 25 m/h.

A complex of thunderstorms will move into Kansas Sunday night and may develop into showers and storms across our far northern states early Monday morning. A chance for storms Monday morning is an isolated severe threat. A greater chance of strong and severe storms arrives Tuesday with a passing cold front. Details will become clear in the coming days.
