BJP’s reaction to the Kallakurchi hooch tragedy in Tamil Nadu
BJP MP Sambit Patra says, “Today we are here to discuss the news from Tamil Nadu, we are talking about Hooch tragedy, illegal liquor from Kalakurchi, Tamil Nadu district… When I came to the press conference and was checking the numbers. The death toll was 56. More than 56 people died and many of them are critical, still around 200 people are hospitalized. This is such an important issue and I am surprised that Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul. Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, DMK and All India Alliance people are silent on this issue, if more than 32 dalits are killed in this country, I will call it murder, it is not death.
