Entertainer Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor on DWI-related charges, Sag Harbor authorities confirmed Tuesday.
A spokesman for the police department declined to give details of the arrest – but confirmed that the singer-songwriter and actor known as the Prince of Pop was in fact arrested.

Entertainer Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor on DWI-related charges, Sag Harbor authorities confirmed Tuesday.
A spokesman for the police department declined to give details of the arrest – but confirmed that the singer-songwriter and actor known as the Prince of Pop was in fact arrested.
A Sag Harbor Justice Court official confirmed that the charges are related to DWI and that Timberlake will be charged there today.
A spokeswoman for Timberlake, 43, did not immediately respond to an email request for comment.
Police said the details of the charges will be announced on Tuesday.
Timberlake’s career began at the age of 11 when he appeared on the TV show Star Search and as part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club, which featured Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling and future bandmate JC Chasez. According to IMDb, it was his role in the boy band NSYNC that catapulted him to superstardom at the age of 14.
Timberlake’s acting career includes roles on The Social Network, Friends with Benefits and Trouble with the Curve. He has been married to actress Jessica Biel since 2012; The couple has two children.
