CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Three Northwest Local School District schools received bomb threats Thursday morning, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
Dispatchers say Northwest High School, Colerain High School and White Oak High School were listed in the email received by the student resource officer.
The SRO notified the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office of the email threat, the dispatcher said.
Northwest Local Schools released the following statement Thursday morning:
“Bomb threats were received this morning for CHS, NWHS, WOMS. Buildings are being evacuated. Law enforcement officers know. All students are safe. As a precaution, all buildings have been put on an instructional lockdown until the investigation is complete. We ask the parents not to pick up the students, because all the roads to the school must be cleared.”
