On Wednesday morning there was a murder in Vicksburg.
A black man was reportedly shot just before 2 a.m. in the 2000 block of Grove Street and pronounced dead at 2:57 a.m. at an area hospital. The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Hakeem Burnett. One person is believed to be detained.
