Police are investigating the death of an 84-year-old man Found floating in a pond at a Bronx golf course, police said Saturday.
The first rescuers were called to the scene Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf Courses at Pelham Bay Park, near Island City, on Friday at 2 p.m., where a body was found floating in a pond.
The man died at the scene. His name was not immediately released as police are trying to locate the man’s family.
It is not known how the man got into the pool or how long he was in the water before police were called.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine how the man died.
