LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) – Seven people were injured, four seriously, in a shooting in Long Beach overnight.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the shooting was reported around 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the area of ​​South Street and Paramount Boulevard.


Several patrol units remained at the scene Sunday morning as investigators tried to determine what led up to the shooting.

It is not clear where the shooting took place, but there are several bars and nightclubs.

Authorities say seven people were injured and all victims were either transported by private vehicles or taken to local hospitals. The lives of three are not in danger, the rest are in critical condition.
